I am legit chuckling over here at this from Episode 16:
Christian: I am immune to the charms of Penn and Teller. Also, personal note - right about this time, I memorized all of "Casey at the Bat" and recited it to a school poetry competition. It may have been because I saw this!

I distinctly remember Casey at the Bat becoming popular when I was about the same age. Which makes me think maybe all of our elementary school teachers were influenced by themselves watching Saturday Night Live!
