As always, for those who have signed up for the podcast at the Executive Producer level, we send out notable video and newspaper clips that aided us in preparing for the episode. Below are some of the Saturday Night Live sketches and media clips we reference throughout the episode, to enhance the listening process.

Please help keep the podcast advertisement-free and upgrade to the Executive Producer level, which will keep these emails coming in the future!

(Although if you want to support us at a lower level and want to just hear the shows, you can do that, too!)

Here are some of the materials we discuss throughout the Season Twenty-Eight episode:

Mom Jeans

A classic commercial, and the best of the season.

Courtroom Bullhorn

One of the first instances where you could see Will Forte had a different comedy gear than other recent cast additions. He’s filling in some of the weirdness that left when Will Ferrell bolted.

Protest

The only really strong sketch of the Matthew McConaughey episode. Even more impressive because it was so topical at the time, as anti-war protests popped up all over the country.

Life Raft Election

This probably killed at read-through. Walken is good, as always.

Colonel Angus

Entirely a writer’s sketch. You know 15 seconds in where it’s going.
