Watched the 50th live last night, then watched the 40th this morning on Peacock. My initial observations:
1. Peacock excised about a third of special (basically all the music plus a few other things).
2. What's left is pretty great (other than the Californians).
3. Comparing the two specials, pretty clear that (WU aside), the last ten years have been a very fallow period for the show.
